I am a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Interventional Pain Specialist at Bagan Specialist Centre, Penang, with a focus on endoscopic spine surgery across the lumbar, thoracic, cervical, and foraminal regions. My philosophy, “Repair before Rebuild,” reflects my belief in preserving natural anatomy while achieving precision and stability through minimally invasive techniques.
I completed my Master of Surgery (Neurosurgery) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (WFNS Training Centre), where I later served as Chief Registrar and Lecturer in Clinical Neurosurgery. Over 15 years of practice, I have trained and collaborated internationally under world-renowned mentors, completing fellowships in:
🇯🇵 Japan – Microneurosurgery, Skull Base & Pain Interventions
🇹🇭 Thailand – Neuromodulation & Pain Neurosurgery (Siriraj Hospital)
🇰🇷 Korea – Unilateral Biportal Endoscopic (UBE) Spine Surgery
🇮🇳 India – Endoscopic Lumbar Fusion & Biportal Techniques
🇨🇳 China – Advanced Endoscopic Spine Surgery (Henan & Guangzhou)
My expertise spans endoscopic decompression and fusion, functional and pain neurosurgery, and neuro-oncology, integrating microsurgical precision with cutting-edge endoscopy.
I currently serve as:
• Committee Member, Malaysian Society of Endoscopic Spine Surgery (MSESS)
• International Faculty, ISASS–Asia Pacific
• International Faculty, Radical Academy of Spine Endoscopy (RASE India)

Recent speaking engagements include ISASS-AP Suzhou, ThaiSMISST Ayutthaya, BSECON-3 India, ENDOKL Kuala Lumpur, and NAM Sarawak.
Driven by continuous learning and collaboration, I strive to advance minimally invasive spine surgery in Malaysia and Asia-Pacific, combining innovation, compassion, and precision in every operation.
